Preparing a House For Paint Spraying

Examine, Remove and Clean

First of all, preparation starts by covering or removing everything that does not need painting. Also, It is important to examine the house and prepare by filling in any holes and caulking between any gaps.

Finally, We remove old paint that has begun to crack using a scraper. Any surfaces that are particularly dirty get a thorough cleaning. Stained areas are stain blocked.

Sand, Cover and Tape

We sand ceilings and walls with a powered sander and remove all dust. Next, we lay a canvas drop cloth to protect the floors. Then remove all light switches, outlet covers and thermostats. We cover other fittings and fixtures with painters tape.

Finally, we mask off all the trim and cover windows and doors with a plastic drop cloth to seal the house. As a result, any spray paint residue will not enter your home.
